Set between the mountains and the sea, Barcelona is 1 of the the majority interesting metropolitan areas on the Western Mediterranean coast, a place with a zest for existence and artistic legend. Barcelona is the second Spanish metropolis after its old rival, Madrid and the city of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia. In favor of those visitors that prefer a more interesting ascent to the climax of Montjuic, there is a cable car which goes up to the fortress. An additionalof Barcelona’s Museums is the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA), locatedin a large glass surrounded construction made by an American architect Richard Meier.
