NYC’s Omni Berkshire Place Luxury Hotel
Omni Berkshire Place Hotel in Manhattan is a fabulous 4 star hotel. It is a great selection for those on business and for travelers who would like to stay in luxury on their visit to the biggest city in the US.
Omni Berkshire Place has all of the features that you would expect from a four star hotel in New York. What follows is just a shortlist:
1. Cable TV.
2. Parking.
3. AC.
4. In Room Movies.
5. Fitness Room.
6. Bar.
7. Business Center.
8. Security Guard.
9. Restaurant.
10. Concierge.
The building itself is quite beautiful particularly at night with all of the lights on. And the rooms are decorated luxuriously. But what is really great about Omni Berkshire Place to me isn’t what it looks like outside or how nice it is inside but where it’s located. Unless you plan on spending all of your time in NYC hanging out in your hotel, I imagine the same would be true for you!
Omni Berkshire Place is located on East 52nd St. between Madison Avenue and 5th Avenue and that means it’s near many “points of interest” in the city. What follows is a shortlist of what’s within a very short walk of the hotel:
1. 5th Avenue Shopping.
2. Radio City Music Hall.
3. Museum of Arts & Design.
4. Sony Wonder Technology Lab.
5. Metro Stations.
As you probably already know a luxury hotel in such a great location in Manhattan is not cheap. As of right now the least expensive reservation I can find on the New York City Hotel Deals website is $500/night. Rates do vary depending on the day and the season but you are very unlikely to find a room in a hotel of this caliber for a discount price in Manhattan. In this very expensive city even the 2 star discount hotels are usually over $200/night.
For those who plan on doing a lot of touristy things, the New York Pass is a great way to save cash. It allows you to take part in over 60 tourist activities for one price. It can also save you time since it lets you cut in line too!
