After working as an ultrasound tech, one of the things that I love and enjoy doing is reading, especially spiritual books particularly given by a good friend of mine, who is an ultrasound technician as well, newspapers, some magazine about what’s latest on the planet of technology and the last would be, some think it’s weird but I love learning various places on the planet. Thai Airways has won its share of awards over the years, and in 2011 it was honored by Skytrax World Airline Awards in two important categories-Best Airline Economy Class Onboard Catering and Best Airline Economy Class Seat. These are significant awards, because this shows that Thai Airlines is dedicated to making Economy, as well as Business and First Class passengers comfortable. Thai Airways has been impressive with their fifth place finish in the World’s Best Airlines category, moving up four places from the finish of last year. There are a lot of airlines in the world, so with as much competition as there is, you have to do a lot of things right, to be considered one of the top five. When an airline has a high level of service, it gets a 4 star rating from Skytrax, and that is what Thai Airways has been given. A new level of service from Thai Airways that offers some of the same luxuries as the more expensive tickets, but for less money is called Premium Economy Class. You’ll have more leg room, wider aisles and larger roomier seats to lean back in. With the reclining seats you’ll be able to relax and even fall sleep if you so desire. If during the flight you want to use your laptop, they offer power outlets for your use. If you are interested in booking the Premium Economy Class, check with Thai Airways as not all flights offer this service.
If you visit Thailand, their beaches are some of the most beautiful in the entire world, so you will have to check some of them out. There are plenty of beaches that you can relax on, when you have finished exploring the city of Bangkok, the city you flew into on Thai Airways. Many beaches found in the country are popular, especially, Patong Beach, located on the island of Phucket. You can go to nightclubs, play water sports, go shopping, or just lounge on the beach, if that is all you want to do. To see some dramatic cliffs, or explore some caves and lagoons, you would prefer to visit Railey Beach, a remote beach with beautiful sand and water. You may feel like you are on a deserted island, after you get to this remote island by boat, the only way on or off the beach.
Thai Airways has learned a lot about what is needed to run a world class airline in its more than 50 years of operation. Objective airline rating organizations such as Skytrax offer proof of this with the awards they have given to Thai Airways.
