However , if you are relocating for a temporary time frame, it is always better to go for a rented furnished accommodation rather than buying a flat. A lot of effort and time will go into choosing and organizing things into the apartment when after all that, you would probably either have to resell them afterwards or bring them with you to the new place you relocate to after completing your stay here.
Furnished accommodation will allow you to settle in at once. Do not underestimate the level of difficulty that might lie in acquiring furniture and household goods in a strange country! Also, it will probably end up being more costly than you originally thought it would be. One easily forgets about the little things like potato peelers and cleaning appliances when you have to furnish a flat on your own! There is semi furnished accommodation, having only the basic necessities needed for living, like a bed or a couch, a refrigerator, gas, a telephone and so on. These places cost a little less and you can always opt for such accommodation in case you are renting it for a very short while. The other kind is fully furnished accommodation, having all of the simple necessities as well as items that will add to your comfort and luxury, like an air conditioner or a home theatre. If you are intending to rent accommodation for quite a long time and if money is not a constraint, this type of accommodation is obviously preferable over the semi furnished kind, for obvious reasons.
When you are moving in to a new place, youd probably already be troubled about getting acquainted with the new place, surroundings and people. Why add to it by worrying even more about necessities? Not when that can simply be taken care of by just spending a little more and renting a furnished accommodation.
