Learning to fly a helicopter is not as easy as learning to fly a kite, there is no doubt about it, there are many steps that you need to take to even get close to even touch the flight control panels.
Get Into It
When it comes to learning how to fly one you need to actually ride one first, so get out there and do it, stop wasting time by sitting at home doing nothing. To do this you need to of course find a place where they will let your ride one. If you do not like this then it might be an idea to scrap the thing altogether so make sure you realise this. However 9 times out of 10 you will love it which is where you move onto the next step.
This does actually sound like a very bad idea indeed but some of the helicopters out there are tough to learn how to fly and you may even need training how to fly these. Mastering the most difficult ones are just as challenging as flying the real things so make sure you realise this. The thing to think about is that driving Hornby trains is easy but an remote control helicopter is not easy at all. The same of course applies to Scalextric.

the final process in all of this is to take to the skies in a real flying lesson and I can almost bet money on your trainer being impressed on the things you will already know if you have followed previous steps, you do not want to waste money to make sure you know you want to do it.
This is a costly decision to have to make there is no doubt about it but in the end it really is worth all of the money!
