Travelling By Train Eliminates All The Stress

Travelling by train is so relaxing. Many people feel that there is more freedom when you drive yourself but sometimes it can be quite nice to just let someone else do the driving. Travelling by train takes away the worries about traffic and finding somewhere to park. You can just sit back and relax knowing full well that you will arrive at your destination with absolutely no effort on your part.

When I travel on a train I usually like to read a good book. This is something that I just dont find enough time to do at home so when I am on a train it gives me the perfect opportunity. These days plenty of people would rather listen to their MP3 player but for me there is nothing better than getting caught up in a good story. Although I have seen plenty of people who can manage to read a book at the same time as listening to music – so they are definitely good multi-taskers. If I am travelling for quite a bit of time, I normally cannot read all the way so I sometimes just sit back and watch the other travellers which can be quite interesting. Most of us dont get the chance to talk to strangers like we once did and train travel is sort of like stepping back in the past. I also enjoy the fact that I can get up and get myself a coffee and something small to eat when I am on a train.

You can actually get a train to anywhere in Europe from London these days. The new tunnel that goes under the sea and connects Folkestone to Calais is a true wonder and has added a whole new dimension to train travel for us Brits. Now you can even take your car on those special trains that speed under the sea – it is like having your cake and eating it too.

On the lookout for Disneyland Paris tickets for your fun weekend away? If you are thinking about driving over once the tickets are secured, you may want to think about European breakdown cover. Your mind will be at ease once you have bought this cover. And dont travel without European travel insurance.
