For those who love sport, of course Manchester has everything, with two first class soccer teams competing from this city. Now the city showcases its second sport too. Bowling, batting and fielding prowess will all be put the test at a brand new one day cricket event. Who is the hardest hitting batsman? Who bowls the fastest? All the answers to the questions you have been asking for years provided in this titanic contest in Manchester. Aussie captain David Boon will lead a team against Freddie Flintoff’s English side. Meanwhile a battle of two mighty nations will be taking place between Wasim Akram’s Pakistan team and the Indian side, led by Virender Sehwag. Aiming to deliver the best of what cricket and cricketers have to offer, the organisers are promising crowds the chance to see what is usually only on show at top class training sessions.
