You Can Still Fly South African Airways CPT-DBN Route
On the 1st November SAA (South African Airways) dropped their Cape Town – Durban according to a recent press release. In future SAA low cost subsidary airline Mango will provide the flights which will still be booked on a SAA flicht code.
Voyager Miles, the popular rewards scheme of SAA, will still be awarded to passengers traveling on this new code share flight.
Passengers will receive their included in-flight meals as always on SAA flights. Usually low cost carriers such as Mango, Kulula and 1time do not supply these meals. Meals can be ordered using a meal voucher which should be adequate for meals and drinks on the flight.
Low cost carriers currently dominate this route which mostly caters to very price sensitive tourist traffic.
SAA wants to deploy more aircraft on its more profitable route into Africa. SAA will continue its presence on this coastal route, and the only difference would be the Mango Airlines aircraft on which you will travel.
